A starting hand or flop with cards of the same suit. Suited starting hands are better than unsuited hands because of the flush possibilities. A suited hand is sometimes marked by an 's'. For example, AKs is called "Ace-king suited" and refers to an ace and a king of the same suit, e.g. A K.
